HI! I’m Erin. I grew up with the love for cooking. Honestly, didn’t really do the boxed food stuff till I moved to the Austin area in 1999. Still, I understand the need for quick meals or sides but appreciate the value of making them a blank canvas and playing with flavors. (It’s amazing what some people can do with instant mashed potatoes)

I currently live with my mom and brother. Both of which are always on the go just like me. Somewhere between work, school, and any other activities, we find the time to actually to grab a quick bite and talk about our day. My grandparents, always taught us to sit for at least 10 minutes and eat together. Not many people do that now days and I hope that some of this food will inspire that.

Cooking is a passion of mine and my friends have some great ideas as well. My recipes aren’t the most technical or anything but designed for taste and easy for the most part. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!!

Note: you will rarely see any kind of bean in my stuff… I HATE MOST BEANS!!! there may be one or two in there… never know…
